Were all on this path - a path... your path...
To where?
We must be heading somewhere... do we know where?
Have you ever stopped running long enough to figure out where you are headed?
Are you making choices to get where your going? Turn here, go straight there...
How we live our lives will determine where you end up when it's all over.
Secondly, more importantly, if you have decided where you are headed, how do you know it is a good destination?
What could be more disheartening then pursuing a destination your whole life, making all your choices, turn left, turn right to get there... only to arrive and find your chosen destination an empty and lonely place to be!
We need to be deliberate and put real effort into pondering the things of this life... for we all die, the time is unknown but death has our name and will come to claim us one day.
This life is precious... more precious than we will ever know... do we live with this truth on our lips everyday? Do our words portray this preciousness???
Does the world all around me not see this?
The media, news, entertainment, culture around me does not reflect this preciousness... it mocks it, it mocks me... Do my eyes, my senses, my reasoning decive me?
How do we not see?
I guess we chose not to see.
A path will allways lead us to a destination... Please take the time to think about where you are going.
